Founded in September 2017, Wamat Paper is a wholly-owned subsidiary of Shandong Century Sunshine Paper Group Company Limited, having built a project manufacturing 800,000 TPY of premium composite medium paper by investing RMB 3 billion Wamat introduced world-class production line with 7450mm width and speed of 1250 m min from Germany, by which the efficiency can be increased by 50% while 20% down in energy consumption The product is premium composite medium paper with high water resistance, high strength and low grammage, etc The technology is the first in China which would reduce grammage by latest process, but increase compressive strength and bursting strength of the base paper and reduce raw material cost and the package weight for the downstream packaging companies, to save the logistics cost At the same time, internal surface sizing and chemical coating would help to achieve high water resistance, which will subvert the traditional pattern of packaging paper
